D’ya suppose the real reason behind the US “IC’s” attack on Kaspersky is that it treats their (US) spyware as malware?
I know one reason I use Kaspersky (beyond that it gets the best reviews) is that it’s less likely to open a backdoor to some US agency. Or some criminal actor pretending to be a US agency. Assuming there’s a difference.
To be paranoid: do you suppose the real reason the NSA or whatever are so eager to forbid US bureaucracies from using Kaspersky is that they want to be able to spy on them, and are afraid Kaspersky will stop them?
